• Welcome to The International History Bee & Bowl Global Website!

Welcome to the global homepage of The International History Bee and Bowl! These are two English language history quiz competitions for students around the world. The Bee is for individual students; the Bowl is for school teams. All primary and secondary school students can compete in one of three age-based classifications – middle school, Junior Varsity, and Varsity. The Bee and Bowl test knowledge of all fields, eras, and locations in history, and our quiz questions are specially tailored to the abilities of the students at each tournament.

The International History Bee and Bowl currently consist of three divisions – Asia, Europe, and the USA. We will expand to other parts of the world in future years. Each division has its own qualifying tournaments, and a separate championship at the end of the school year. Students who excel can also qualify for the inaugural International History Olympiad to be held in the summer of 2015.

Please explore this site to learn more about The International History Bee and Bowl, and how your school or your child can compete. For further questions, please email director@historybowl.com. Thanks for your interest, and we hope to see you at one of our tournaments soon!
